Why do I need separate software for Care Plans and other CDM activities?
How does MGT help our practice in improving clinical standards?
The difference in the clinical standards of 'care plans' is one of the known problems in most GP practices. You can not always expect to have very experienced staff doing care plans. With MGT, we have standardized your CDM plans against Australian and international clinical resources. Is there a monthly subscription
Yes. Your practice will be billed according to the number of user licenses you hold. Practice manager has the full control of the subscriptions and even can temporarily suspend some user licenses when GPs are on holidays!
Is MGT based on Australian standards?
Yes. It is based on RACGP publications and other Australian guidelines. We also referenced publications, journals and guidelines from NZ, USA and UK.
Is MGT updated frequently?
Yes. All clinical information is regularly reviewed updated.
Is MGT a clinical decision-making tool?
No. Although you can use it as a guide to manage ‘chronic diseases’, its primary function is to create comprehensive CDM plans to achieve best practice outcomes.
How many chronic conditions are covered in the MGT?

What product supports do you have?
You can master the use of our software in no time. However, you will get full product training following your account activation. Our video library is simple, yet effective way of answering your questions. If you still need more support, feel free to contact us for further assistance!
What if the system is down?

What if I need training in 'Chronic Disease Management Plans'?

Where can I find training on the software?
Once you have an active account, you will have access to training videos. You can find same videos on our training resource page.
Do you provide onsite training?
It is impossible to provide onsite training to over 35,000 GPs and over 7000 GP practices in Australia. However, we have provided onsite training to some GP practices if they are really struggling. Currently additional training can be provided through Zoom meetings.

Do I need topbar to use MGT?
We highly encourage you to use topbar. Topbar is a point of care system that is used by over 4600 GP practices across Australia. Many years ago, topbar used to have some technical issues but it has resolved all of these and now it is one of the most used platforms in Australian general practice.

Where do you have your cloud server?
It is with AWS Australia, Sydney. All data is hosted securely in AWS data centres in Australia. As such MGT platform enjoys the best possible security standards that AWS governs.
ISO/IEC 27001:2013 is a security management standard that specifies security management best practices and comprehensive security controls following the ISO/IEC 27002 best practice guidance. This widely-recognized international security standard specifies that AWS do the following:

Who owns patient-related information?
You own it, you control it, and you manage it. We simply provide you with a secured cloud space and software.
What happens to my data when I cancel my subscription?
Since your cloud storage space is wiped out, all data within your own cloud space will be eliminated.
